This book was unexpectedly my favorite book I read this year. The way this was written had me reeling the rest of it in so fast. I fell so deeply in love with the characters Kya, Tate, Jumpin & even Jodie. I went from wanting to hug Kya and keep her safe, to relating to her and maybe even fearing her a little bit. I gotta see the movie now.

it was fine. everyone had said this was gonna be a murder mystery but tbh that element wasn’t very strong. and i didn’t like the writing enough for it to carry me through the lackluster “thrill.” overall i just didn’t find myself very invested in the story. it’s not absolute dogshit and I can understand it for others just not rly my thing
