Genuinely would give this 100 stars if I could. If this isn’t my favourite book, it’s certainly in my top three. I reread it every couple of years and each time I’ll cry at least 4 or 5 times while reading. The writing is beautiful, the characters are complex, just….wow. The ending is so beautifully executed too and leaves you with this feeling of perseverance and hope.

This is one of the best books I’ve ever had the pleasure to read. The way this story tells the strifes that the women of  Afghanistan have faced is heartbreaking, and so very important. This is such a strong book, and deserves far more attention than it already has.

i'm impressed by his writing style as always. and the plot—to begin with—is easy to follow yet so intriguing. let alone the two main characters which was portrayed as a vulnerable and strong at the same time. i'm truly under Khaled Hosseini's writing style!

This book is a solid four. I do recommend it, but it isn’t one of my favorites. The book focuses on women written by a man. It is a little hard to connect to that. 
It is definitely heartbreaking and touching. You can feel it all. Great book.
