There’s so much wrong with this book, so much wrong I can’t even digest the fact that this book gets 4. Stars avg rating on goodreads. For fuck sake I pity my eyes. I wasted my fucking time reading this junk I can’t even stand myself right now I am angry cause I finished this long ass pain in the crack book. I’ll ask myself every single day why I did this to myself.
Oh, and Johnny Kavanagh has a temper tantrum of a 2 year old toddler he needs anger management therapy and a fucking physiotherapy.
Fucking booktok sensation.

This is normally not a genre i enjoy reading it is filled with a bunch of tropes i normallt dont fuck with but this book is written so beautifully. Igenuinly cared for the characters .
The only thing is that if they arent shannon or Johnny the characters are pretty flat in being somthing but what they are (the few character traits they do have) do really move the book and im glad they werent just past aside.

johnny and shannon were so precious individually and together, also shannon is such a strong girl omg i wanna protect her so bad
loved the side characters too (claire, gibsie, lizzie and of course joey aka the best brother ever sigh he deserves so much more, im so damn glad he has aoife in his life)
i’m not giving this book 5 stars because i got sick of how “tiny” shannon omg it was repetitive…i get it she’s small no need to shove it down my throat every damn second

i loved it so much i just hated how much shannon’s size was mentioned…like every sentence from either herself or johnny she was being called small…it was weird but otherwise sooo good
