I enjoyed the book - lots of twists and turns - some foreseeable - others less so. I would have given it 4 stars, except I got tired of being told repeatedly what the husband was thinking - became a bit redundant. Still a fun read

I only read a small blurb about this book before reading it, so really didn't know much about the plot, not even that it was a thriller. Desperate is full of twists and turns, things you'd never think could happen. It definitely kept my attention and shocked me at the biggest twist of all that happened toward the very end. An intriguing read that I'd recommend.

Fantastic, fast-paced thrill ride. I read this book in the course of one day, and did not want to put it down. His writing style reminds me of Harlan Coben (another author I really love).

Definitely getting his other books right now!

Must-read for anyone who enjoys a good mystery/thriller.

'Desperate' is desperately good! Brutally clever. Terrific writing. Daniel Palmer has constructed a novel that kept me guessing (and in shock) right up to the end. Fabulous read!
