Roman & Simone get a 5/5 for their chemistry, because baybeeehhh it was H O T! For me, I feel like it was so much overthinking going on in this book. Simone second guessed herself and the relationship she had with Roman a lot. Frankly, it was getting exhausting to read after a while. One thing I will say, is that she was spot on about Leah!!!! Like dead on about her!! Although she explained in the end, she made an adult decision & I would have had to be apart of the adult consequences. Carter, gave really great advice to Simone & became a really good friend even after trying to pursue her which made me happy.

He smelled like coffee. Man, what a way to describe someone. In this book we are introduced to Simone and Roman. Roman, is the owner of a coffee shop. He meets Simone, the owner of a flower shop, when out shopping with a friend. He had Simone at hello.
The two hit it off immediately. One would think they had the perfect relationship. They had a some issues that made for a good read. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it to others. I will continue reading this series. On to read book 2.

Sadly, this book was not working for me. I really liked the beginning. They were so cute together but when all the stuff with his ex started, I just didn’t feel this book anymore. I like many of Christina C Jones other books a LOT and I really wanted to love this but sadly this one wasn’t for me. I do however plan on reading the other books in the series as well and hope I will like them better.
