this could’ve been the best boy-obsessed trope ever written. but it’s okay.

i loved landon’s entire concept ya know the psychopathic old money posh boy sculptor but the execution was empty. loved his dry humor. the inner dialogues about his beast and demons and narcissistic praises kinda gave me the ick. but he did have some cute moments like learning asl, buying mia her fertilizers and learning empathy from his siblings. i wish more care was put into writing his character. a morally gray artistic psychopath with questionable kinks comes from old money and is obsessed with his woman?? literally the dream character.

mia’s goth barbie concept with her ribbons and stompers and mutism was cool. but again the execution was lackluster. her friendship with brandon though was the cutest thing. brandon is the cutest. and i need to know what niko thought/did when he punched his lotus flower accidentally. maya was done dirty. her so-called antagonist arc was unfair.

the characters from this series just seem like clones of one another, just written in new font for each new book released.

i really really really hope ava and eli are not ruined.

why is this a 3 star rating if there was so much missing from me reading the book?? because i’m a whore for anything to do with art.

Color me surprised! I was worried I wouldn't like this book, but I have to admit, its been my favorite. Color me even more surprised, that Landon is in fact the best boyfriend in this god damn series. The most emotionally and mentally there for their girl in these books so far. He actually takes Mia's thoughts and emotions into consideration. That's crazy, who would of fucking thought. This is the only relationship I've seen in this series where I can actually feel like they love one another, even if both of them are mental cases. Also once again the father's POV is the best chapter.

OK my one thing is where I get unhinged Landon. Like seriously I've read all the books leading up to this one and over halfway through god of fury. Those Landons were so different from the Landon in that book.

It was like he was so dulled down.
