#fivewordsummary: relationships, forgiveness & finding your passions
This was such a sweet story! It gave me Romeo & Juliet vibes at times, but Ms. Le definitely made it her own! Bao and Linh are from rival families that own pho restaurants across the street from each other. Their parents have forbidden them from speaking to each other, but when their paths continue to cross, they wonder if their families’ feud is something they can overcome.
I laughed out loud several times during this book - Bao had some real zingers!! And as you can imagine, the descriptions of the food served in the restaurants throughout the book had me craving Vietnamese food and I finally gave in and ordered it for dinner :)
