LOVED this sequel to the Bright Falls series. In Delilah’s book, I definitely wanted to know more about Astrid, and this was such a wonderful way to get to know her. In addition to having a dual perspective with the new love interest Jordan Everwood!! Hot but realistic smut, brief relationship angst but ends totally happy, lovely discovery of sexuality. I can’t wait to read more in this series!

I think I loved this even more than 'Delilah Green Doesn't Care'. Astrid and Jordan are both such compelling characters and seeing their growth is a delight. This book had even more of the complicated relationships I loved in the first one and they're really well written. An all-around great romcom!

I've been putting off reading this because I loved Delilah's story so much that I was afraid the rest of the series wouldn't measure up. Unfortunately, this one let me down a bit. Astrid was uptight and unlikeable. I wanted to throw a chill pill at her everytime I was in her POV. I can empathize with her difficult family situation and I did love the found family between her, Delilah, Claire, and Jordan and that this was dual POV, alternating between Astrid and Jordan. I do want to read Iris's story, but will be going in with lower expectations. I recommend this series on audio.

Such an adorable addition to the first book in the series, which I also loved!

I thought Meredith's character was a little caricature-y, she didn't really have a concrete personality, however, she wasn't a main character so it's understandable.

Astrid's story was way different from Claire and Delilah's! The pacing was difference and the focus was way more on the main couple. The "coven" as they are called (which is so adorable) were much more side characters than they were in #1, so I definitely think reading these books in order is a must so you can see the friendships in the coven. The first book did a really good job of building those relationships, whereas this book just shows you that yes, they are still friends.

I loved the interior design aspect of this book, too; hearing about the inn coming together and all its renovations, while a tiny bit confusing, was beautiful. I also think this portion could've taken a chapter from a fantasy book and included sketches! That would have been a very nice touch! I do wish I'd gotten to know Simon and especially Pru a bit more, it would've made Jordan a much more fleshed-out character. In the end she sort of started to feel a bit side-y.

On the whole, this book was lovely and I can't wait to read the third (which is sitting in a newly-arrived Amazon package on my front step as we speak)!!

I had fun reading this book. It was cute and I did like it. I thought Astrid and Jordan were cute together. I didn't like it as much as the first one book.
