I've been a fan of the Dash & Lily Netflix show since it premiered and it is my tradition to watch it at least twice on Christmas, so I finally got around to reading the books! And I really enjoyed it! It's not as stressful and doesn't have that tinge of drama that the show has, which makes it much better! It is a bit forced at times, Lily's family looks like the damn Mafia with how many connections she has haha But I enjoyed it! I preferred Dash's chapters to Lily, but, overall, it was a nice and good book for Christmas!

this book was okay, and just okay. idk the start of the book was super slow, I pretty much skimmed more than half of the book because I was so bored. maybe because Dash and Lily didn't really interact with each other in the first half only when they were exchanging notes and stuff. but the second half they got to interact more and their moments together were pretty cute. their dynamic and dialogue were really fun to read. though im still kinda confused on why the book ended so abruptly, but maybe im just too tired to process it in my mind or just skimmed through all the important parts.
overall, pretty good book, maybe will read the sequel soon??

I watched this several times last year before realizing it was a book and have waited all year to read it. The characters in the show were spot on to the book!! Some of the specifics with the dares and whatnot were different, so it felt like a new interaction with characters I already know and love. Such an original idea and a great character based story.
