I just want to squeal after finishing this audio ALC! Thank you so much to Catherine and her team for sending me this in exchange for my honest review.

Catherine Cowles is my favorite author and this series continues to remind me why! Grae is the only girl in the Hartley clan and has type 1 diabetes. She’s always loved her brother’s best friend Caden, but he always pushed her away. Now, he’s back in town to work for his father’s company but things are tense. He needs to improve his playboy image. Grae has been getting advances from a man she isn’t interested in and uses Caden to pretend to be her boyfriend. There are also threats being made toward Grae. If you love romance and suspense, you’ll love this one!

I love Joe Arden as a narrator and this performance was so good. He and Erin embodied the characters. A great listening experience.

Love the love story of these two! Such a great book. Very inspiring! I love reading this series. The writer makes you feel like you are a part of the Hartley’s family and she keeps you wanting more!

I was so hoping Grae would get a book and I’m so glad she did! I loved getting to read from her POV and see how her diagnosis impacts her life as well as how she feels about the way she is treated not only by the town but by her family. And of course you gotta love a good childhood frenemies to lovers story. I loved watching Caden soften up but also remain tough and protective. The suspense was a bit crazy and I just can’t believe all this happens to the same family, talk about stressful! Still love the small town vibes, still love the family, and still intrigued as to what the heck is next! I cannot wait for Roans story and now after seeing more about Aspen, I need to know what is going on there.

Thank you again Catherine for the signed copy and goodies!

Loved the chronic illness rep with Type 1 diabetes. My husband and sister both have Type 1 and I felt that Catherine did her research and represented it well.

Can't get enough of the childhood friends to lovers trope, and this one didn't disappoint. I loved Grae and Caden!! And the suspense and guessing of "who done it" is such a ride!

And it's books like this that make my feminism fly right out the window because I AM HERE for the woman finding herself in a dangerous situation and her man comes and saves her.
I said what I said.
I freaking love it.

The audio is performed in dual narration with Erin Mallon and Joe Arden. They were fantastic as always. Erin really highlighted the independence that Grae exudes and Joe really showed off some of the desperation and grief and Caden struggles with.

As usual CC had me crying in the prologue!! I am obsessed with Grae and Caden!!! Grae is so fiery and strong, despite everyone around her always trying to manage and take care of her (even coming from a place of love) and having Caden come in with a little enemies to lovers action but still always understanding that Grae needed to be her own person?? PERFECTION. The found family, small town vibes are always spot on. And the suspense had me guessing the entire book! Can’t wait for the last two books in this series. Easy five stars!

This was my first book by Catherine and it will certainly not be my last! I can’t wait to read the rest of the series! Glimmers of you is book #3 in the Lost & Found series. It can be read as a standalone.

Grace and Caden have known each other since they were young when suddenly their friendship ends. Fast foreword 11 years later and Caden is back in town. Grace still holds grudge after all these years but when one of her exes won’t leave her alone Caden offers to be her fake boyfriend. He wants to help her and it will also get his dad off his back about needing to settle down.

I love how protective Caden was of Grae! I know we can all love and appreciate a protective MMC! Grae wanted to hate Caden so much and Caden wanted to keep Grae at arm's length because of his past. But they just couldn’t stay away from each other.

I like that we get some suspense in the story! I was definitely not expecting that twist! It had me on the edge of my seat!!

If you are the fan of these tropes you should definitely read this book!
