Even though I missed the cubs and Snow, this volume was my favorite one so far.
Prince Charming is doing a better job than I expected of him. I am glad to be surprised.

This is an important volume because it finally reveals who the "Adversary" is. I'd already had a good idea, but was confused as to how that person could become the adversary. This story does make some sense, but doesn't really explain the more evil actions that the adversary usually takes. I just don't quite get his motivations. So, I'm a little concerned that this won't be addressed and don't feel that this backstory fully did it's job. Still, it was awesome seeing Boy Blue be a badass, and well done as well. Jack's story is fun, mostly because Jack is an interesting character. I missed having more Snow White and Bigby, but I'm sure we'll get back to them eventually.

A very different style for this volume, but a good one, with a deepening story and well-crafted twists. As old questions are finally answered, epic adventure returns to the forefront while maintaining much of what make "Fables" interesting.
