Hmm. This book, while a quick read with an interesting premise, was just not my bag, baby (a la Austin Powers). The writing is just too far on the pretentious side for my taste, and I didn't develop any rapport with the characters. I don't want to go to their dinner parties, and I'm not sure I want to live in the world the Seep has enabled, although I suppose each individual can make what they want of it. I wanted to know way more about the poor Compound kid, and we didn't even get his name. And I really felt bad for Trina, having to deal with her wife's ultimately selfish decision while understanding that her wife might not be wrong to make it.

Uggghh. A kind of frustrating book for me.

The world seems interesting. I kind of wish we explored the effects of Seep on society and people a bit more
