While I'm not totally in love with Dozerdraws' art style, I love this intro to the next story arc. Seeing the girls in their bathing suits was cute, and the passion they infused into the treasure hunt was on point. There were a couple of moments where the panel organization didn't seem quite right, but other than that the story was smart and easy to follow. Ripley was peak Ripley. Jo was a genius, per usual. Mal and Molly held hands, Molly was sassy!?, and Mal was wisecracking. April was adorable. Jen was exasperated. Diane isn't revealing the whole story. All in all, a classic, fun, and bright issue.

EEE! The lumberjanes set off after treasure but when the many Xs lead to the pieces of a statue that then comes to life; things start to get strange (as usual!) . Very fun start to a new arc!

Tbh I wasn't sure about the artwork at first, but I changed my mind halfway through this issue! Can't wait for the next one.
