I was surprised at how good this book actually was. It had a decent story, and was pretty well written. It didn't take that simple talking down tone that children's books so often do. I don't understand why the creatures on the planet were referred to as Draigons though. They didn't have any ready access to data on the system, so why not just call them dragons?
