GAH!!! I didn't want this series to end, and I'm thrilled to hear it's not going to!

BEST ONE OF THE SERIES! Seriously... Hook's story is my favorite of them all. First of all, he's just flat-out sexy as hell! Even his hook. Especially his hook. But Trisha makes this story. She's feisty, she's rowdy, she's a total shit-talker and takes no crap. My favorite kind of heroine!

I always knew Peter Pan was a dick! Whiny little brat!

I had been looking forward to Hook and I was not disappointed.

Trisha was the most sarcastic of the heroines and the most reluctant to believe in Kingdom. Finally! All of the girls were like 'oh, okay, this is real'. Trisha was the only one who freaked out and it was great.

I liked their chemistry. I liked the story about why Hook hated Peter so much. The mermaid kingdom was interesting too. Tinkerbell was kind of lame (maybe reflected the writer's own feelings of Tinkerbell?). I'm glad she was in it though.

I liked the series overall. It was a fun read despite some plot issues and typos. It was still very creative and fun.

This book was the final book in the Bad Boys of Kingdom series, and was a re-imagining of Peter Pan. I liked seeing the different facets of James Hook, and thought Trisha was a wonderful compliment to him. Characters from the other books make appearances, though the only one that readers really should read before this one is [b:Gerard's Beauty|17413118|Gerard's Beauty (Kingdom, #2)|Marie Hall|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1361752829s/17413118.jpg|21538497]. While this is supposed to be more of an erotic story, I really didn't see it as such. It was a good way to pass an evening though, and I was actually a bit sad to see the series end. Thankfully, there is another series tied to this world on the way!

A seemingly shorter book than some of the others, Hook's Pan the fifth in the Kingdom Series was a quick read for me. Admittedly slow on the uptake I can't say it was my favorite. But, the sizzling Captain Hook definitely is a character that could bring on some steamy pirate like personal fantasies.

James Hook lives by his own code. Never reforms. He drinks and is the epitome of pirate in all forms. After 200 years since losing his Talia, the mermaid he gave his heart to, Hook still can't escape his daily doldrums of life. Blaming Peter Pan for her murderous end, Hook exacts his revenge about Neverland to seek justice and perhaps personal peace. But Peter is protected by his fairy Tinkerbelle and always just out of reach. Causing Hook's anguish to slowly eat at his soul.

Trishelle Paige is the reincarnation of his one true love but when Danika steals her away from playing Pan on earth in a play, will Hook be convinced? No matter what Danika tells Trisha, she knows the pain of love and refuses to take the risk of loving anyone. Even if it is the sexy pirate she finds herself attracted to in all the steamy ways a girl can be.

Marie Hall took one of my favorite books and made me see it through another's eyes. Tink is a sadistic evil little pixie easily dismissed, and Pan isn't the telltale child hero of the secret land we all wanted to visit and never grow up. And, I loved the look it gave. A sexy pirate adventure that is humorous and intriguing.

So I will admit it, even as a child I always preferred Captain Hook to Peter Pan, who wouldn't. This book will solidify those feelings, Hook is wonderful in this story and Trishelle is a spitfire who will not be tamed. This book also comes with a sneak peak at the story of Alice and Hatters little girl which I simply cannot wait to read again.

3.5. I REALLY enjoyed this. There was an interesting deep and passionate love created between Trisha and Hook. I can't help my own love for the man. ♡
