I haven’t enjoyed a book this much-or this weird- if Riordan’s since the original Percy Jackson series. I suspect this is a standalone, although the door could open back up for a series, but either way, a terrific adventure that was inspired by the author’s love of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, this has danger, interesting characters, adventure, and best of all, teenagers with a purpose.
