Beautiful, raunchy smut with a fascinating story. Loved everything about it. I cannot wait for another volume to come out!

Ed Fiedler is a 61 year old scribe working in a royal palace. His most regular client is the eternally 33-year-old Lucardo von Gishaupt, aristocrat and member of the Night Court. When they both develop feelings for one another, both are forced to contend with the culture shock of a mortal man's presence among the deathless.

Letters for Lucardo is the first book in a four-part erotic novel series by Otava Heikkilä. The second book arrived on my doorstep this week, so I can continue reading the story.

Letters for Lucardo is a graphic novel illustrated in black and white. Which fits the theme in my opinion. The story has a quick pace with quite some erotic intervals which are wonderfully illustrated. The book, to me at least, opens up an interesting conversation about sex and age. Ed being 61 and might be considered older as he looks the part, but Lucardo is in fact ancient. So what's the big deal? Love can happen at 21, but also still at 61. So it's interesting to see this explored in Letters for Lucardo. As love is ageless and boundless.

I am curious to see how the story continues as the first book ends with Ed leaving the palace, away from Lucardo.
