I try to critique anything I give a low rating. Perhaps this one is a little unfair, maybe she meant for the characters to be people I would avoid in real life. My bias against pregnancy (especially unplanned) made me want to stop reading the instant Misha threw up unexpectedly. Is it the book's fault? No. Am I going to retroactively add a star? Also no. I'm still invested in the world and the Lazarus family. Wyatt's story just wasn't for me.

Whhaaaaa this one was also awesome !!! I loved it so much, I didn't think I would love Wyatt so much, he wasn't my favourite in Envy, I just wanted to wake up but seeing this book, it was heartbreaking...

Wyatt feels deeply the betrayal of his ex-fiancée, seeing her died not just once but twice was a trauma that lead to his escape. After several months, he's back in Cardinal City but not at home, he still feels ashamed of his behaviour, of not trusting his brother, of being dumb enough to believe anything Sara said, love, can destroy all. with still no voice, Wyatt stumbles in front of a Polish restaurant needing a cook but also help against the Russian mob. Against all odds, Wyatt starts healing with the help of the family-owned restaurant but most of all because of his mate who literally crashed into him on a drunken night.
Misha has been working for so long to protect her family from the Russian mob and all that it brings, but now her time is limited, the situation went bad so fast, and she wasn't ready to stumble on the gorgeous mute chef now working for her father. She's strong, fierce but also has this vulnerable side that only Wyatt can see.
Between tension, healing, doubt, the Syndicate bring its game on and allies with the Russian mob, ready to put the city on fire.

Wyatt and Misha are meant to be together, and they are at the moment my favourite couple !! Now, I'm so ready for Sloan, I hope she's gonna bring it on and make Max suffer. I'm sure that behind her slothfulness, she's mischievous and doesn't like to loos the upper hand.

I had a feeling this book was going to be great and I was right.
Wyatt had so much on his plate in previous books which made him more lovable to me but I also was somewhat skeptical of how his story was going to go. I’m glad to say he wasn’t as stubborn as I thought he was going to be but he also finally accepted the truths that were in front of him all along and part of it was because of Misha’s brother and family in general and the rest was Misha and her joyful and kind person. He is a kitten full of wrath but nevertheless a kitten. 😌
When the man loves, he loves hard and it was great finally realizing what he had before could never compare to Misha. Not gonna lie tho, if he would’ve thought that he still loved Sara or something like that I would’ve gone ballistic so I’m glad that didn’t happen and again, good riddance to that evil witch!
Misha is such a joy. Even in desperate/ darker times she finds joy or positive in mundane things and that’s a great way for something to live life. Never let life beat you down because after a storm there’s always a sunny day ahead.
I loved these two together but I must say that I wasn’t expecting a little Wrath to be in the picture. Oh how excited I am to see him and how them and the family are gonna be. 😌

Dimitri is such an icky character. Lana definitely threw a curve ball in there with a revelation about him that I wasn’t expecting but it made sense and all in all I’m glad he’s gone and hopefully he’s gone gone cause in this world you never know if someone is really gone for good.
Now the Falcon girl… I guessed who she was in the beginning of this book and I can’t understand why I didn’t knew sooner who she was. I have a LOT of mixed feelings regarding her. I wonder if she gonna be a likable character to me when I finally read her story. I’m not one to forgive and forget so I wonder if I’m gonna be able to put everything she did aside and just enjoy her story. 🤔

It’s too soon to say but for now Wrath is my favorite book in this series followed closely by Envy but the jury is still out.

I’m not sure how Lana manages to do it, but each book in this series gets better and better! The suspense, the little Easter eggs to foreshadow what’s to come, and then the emotions that flow around these characters to where you are fully immersed into these books! I loved Wyatt’s hot-headed reactions trying to come to terms with mating with Misha’s cool and sexy humor. “I am the weapon, kid” gave me chills! This rollercoaster of a series has me losing sleep and bypassing adulting to turn the pages!

Oh Wyatt, if there was ever a character who deserved to find his HEA, it would be this guy. He was betrayed by his ex-fiancé, leaving him scared mentally, emotionally and physically. Misha had her own scars, keeping almost everyone outside of her family an arms length away to protect herself. A case of being in the right place at the right time brings Wyatt and Misha together, now will they survive to get that HEA?

Misha is exactly the individual that Wyatt needs in his life and the same can be said about Wyatt for Misha. I also love how interconnected this couple is with the previous ones. It is great to see the previous two leading ladies interact with Misha. Wyatt also does a lot of growing in this book, which he definitely needed to do.

I love this story & this is one of my favorite series ever! If you love superheroes then this is the series for you. Definitely a must read.
