Very disappointing. Main character was completely ridiculous, inept & just not believable. Her boyfriend and brother were both jerks most of the time. No character development in anyone. So many bad plot decisions and things that actually made me laugh out loud or curse the idiot character making yet another stupid decision. Very glad when this was over. Had such potential with the very cool setting and historical possibilities. Just tried way too hard to be “creepy”.

Incredible idea of a Sanatorium being turned into a hotel. I just didn't get the "thrill" I expected from this one. In a way, somewhat predictable, without being predictable... I predicted when incidents where going to happen just didn't know what exactly was going to happen. So that took a major thrill factor out for me. Still a very well written book with short chapters.

It was alright.

Felt really long and didn't draw in well together at the end. Interesting themes but they weren't woven together properly.

A slightly implausible but intriguingly gripping novel.

The best thing about this book was the cover art. I found the story drawn out and characters unlikable. Given the isolated location, I expected more of a creep factor but this just did not deliver.
