This book, this story… wow as my first book by [a:Kat Singleton|19920088|Kat Singleton|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1692992536p2/19920088.jpg], I’m blown away but also totally and deeply in love with Cade and Mare ♥.
It was angsty, passionate, sweet, with anger and also romantic… wow, I’m so in love with Cade and Mare even though they broke my heart several times. I felt the roller coaster of emotions. It made me think about Rylan and Calista’s story (The Problem with Second Chances by [a:Piper Rayne|15810938|Piper Rayne|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1597849467p2/15810938.jpg] )
I loved everything, every hours, every minutes, every seconds about this story. I love Small Town Romance, Best Friend’s brother and Second chance, so basically, for me, this book couldn’t gone wrong. The love, the anger and all the emotions made this story an absolute perfection.
I think [a:Kat Singleton|19920088|Kat Singleton|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1692992536p2/19920088.jpg] totally succeeded with her writting job cause I've got attached really quickly to the story, but mostly with Cade, Mare and Pippa. It's also due to the performance of CJ Bloom and Aaron Shedlock who were for absolutely gorgeous and amazing, they did such a incredible job to bring Cade and Mare alive with their emotions. Oh my it’s so hard to put words on my thoughts.
Sometimes, I wanted to tell Cade what a prick he was for hurting Mare, and what a fool was Mare about not being return to her hometown sooner. My heart hurt so bad for them. Their love is so powerful.
What I loved in this book was the back and forth with the past and the present, the relation between Mare and Pippa but most of all, I loved the strong connection Cade and Mare shared all along, the tension between them was always palpable.
Oh I forget to tell you about Cade and his dirty mouth… oh it was … sorry can’t tell, you definetly must read or listen to this book.
I absolutely love how the author introduced Camden in the story for the next book. I’m sure I will loved Pippa and Camden’s story, at least it sounds really promiscing and I’m so ready. I’m sure I’m gonna laugh about her and her asshole ♥

This story follows Marigold and Cade, and is a second chance small town romance. Mare and Cade fell in love as young teenagers, but Mare left to pursue her dreams and go to college. Since Cade is Mare’s best friends older brother, their relationship was never public when they were younger.
When Mare has to return home after Cade and his sisters mom passes away, their love rekindles and they realize the spark they always had was still there. The storyline has frequent flashbacks to their youth, which made the trajectory of their story even more emotional and impactful.

You know this book was fine until I got to the almost 60 pages of pure smut. In which the characters fuck as 19/22 year olds and 24/27 year olds and it’s basically the same thing. #overit

69’ing the first time you have sex is CRAZY but you know whats crazier? naming the characters in the book you allegedly secretly wrote about you (marigold) and your best friends brother (cade) DAISY AND WADE…..

Kat singleton can do no wrong, I finished this book a months ago and I still think about it to this day.
It has the perfect tropes small town, brothers best friend and second chance.
I love all the characters. Mare and Cade have my heart. And the side characters I can’t wait to continue with this series. The ending was such a full circle moment and just proved to me I want love like them. They were truly soulmates.
