I loved this book way more than I expected to. The characters were top tier. I love how the author tackled orientalism and queer rights, and how cis white gay men suffocating queer spaces can be quite counterproductive to different kinds of activism happening in all kinds of queer spaces. And I have to give a special shout-out to Saeed. I know he starts off really homophobic, but I have such a soft spot for Asian parents who try. And his love stories were so compelling.
