Cute little issues between episodes of the miniseries that I will now take as canon

LOVELY. A cute addendum to a really fabulous show, which I love to pieces. I also much appreciate that these are further adventures (some of which fit in-between episodes) as opposed to any kind of sequel, because Over the Garden Wall is perfect as it is and needs no sequels. Also I enjoyed that I could hear the voice actors in my head as I read the dialogue. Highly recommended for fans of the show.

This works best, or arguably only as a companion guide to the TV miniseries.

That being said, I very much enjoyed these fill-in-the-gap, supplemental tales, which were extra fun to read with the voice actors' delivery in mind.

Got a special hardcover edition at NYCC, and it's lovely.

Definitely the best of the OtGW comics I've read - after reading the OtGW artbook it seems like many of these story lines were from the original pitch to Cartoon Network, and they feel like they truly fit with the show itself. This collection of short stories is deliberately set up to fill in unseen stories between the episodes of the show, which is also a nice touch.

Sadly these stories weren't as funny as some of the other ones I've read. Also it felt way too wordy.
