I read both this one and Rory Feek’s first book within about a week of each other. Whereas the first was was the back story of his life growing up, how he and Joey met, their early marriage years, baby years, and her battle with cancer, this book was made up of many stories throughout their lives. There were some before he and Joey were together, or before Indy was born or stories about other important people who n their lives, but not necessarily in chrono order like the first one. This didn’t take away from the book. It was just different. This one had many more stories about the baby and Rory’s adoration of her.

This book is great for current Feek fans. Since this was my first intro to the Feek family, it wasn't my favorite book. It includes a large number of short stories about their family and faith. It is well written and sentimental - sure to please fans of the Feek family.

I think this book will please Feek fans - the short essays on their life are well written and relatable. I have no prior experience with their work, so I didn't find it as interesting.

Another 5 star book! This one was so inspiring and actually my favorite of the 2 books he wrote. Such a thought provoking book. What a great testimony for the Lord. Life does go on but we never forget the memories. He is such a great author. Hopefully he’ll write some more books.

Like most of the world, I followed Rory and Joey's story as Joey fought cancer. I grieved with the rest of the world when Joey lost that fight and was called Home. Rory and Joey had a beautiful love story and a beautiful family. I love that her passing is not stopping Rory from continuing to celebrate their love and life. This book is a homage to their life on the farm before Joey passed and how their life is continuing on the farm after her death. Rory is a beautiful storyteller and I love how he is able to inject so many emotions into his writing. This is a beautiful tribute to his bride and how God has worked in his life. If like me the top three in your life are faith, family, and friends then this is the book for you! For me, Once Upon a Farm was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 stars. Once Upon a Farm hits shelves June 19th! Thank you @thomasnelson for this advance reader in exchange for an honest review.

I was surprised at how much I loved this book. I knew I loved Rory's writing as I have visited his blog before in the past but this book, it was something else. It touched me in ways I didn't even know a book could and I think it will resonate with me for some time to come.

Hopefully I can read his other book soon.
