Patricia Gibney has worked her magic again with this book in the Lottie Parker series which was fabulous! Patricia is one of my favourite authors and this did not disappoint. Really enjoyed it, it was dark, tense and kept me on the edge of my seat reading late into the night because I didn’t want to put it down. It was a very entertaining read that kept me engrossed from start to finish. It was a complex story involving several families joined together by unspeakable acts, it was however easy to follow and hugely enjoyable. I highly recommend this book it totally deserves 5 stars it was excellent.

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Oh Ragmullin! I swear this Irish town has the highest crime rate in the world! If it was a real town it would be on my bucket list of must visit, a bit macabre I know.
I started this book yesterday afternoon and finished it last night, in this Patricia Gibney never disappoints. I will say that I’m thankful DI Lottie Parker seems to be getting her life under control. This book was heart breaking, so many innocent lives lost, so many twists and turns and tragedy. This is why I love this series, you never know what is coming, when you believe a line won’t be crossed....it is, this is what keeps me turning the pages and waiting for the next instalment. This one hasn’t been published yet and I’m excited for the 9th book!

Love this series, but this one struck me as a tad for vicious than earlier in the series.
Love that Lottie can finally fully open her heart to Boyd. Lynch is awful-she should either grow up or get lost.
These books always grow out before they become cohesive together, weaving in all the individual regulars along the way. I just wish that some of the regulars would get happy endings for a change.

Two young boys flying a drone find body parts on the local train track. Another part is found in a nearby canal. A young woman stripping wallpaper in her new home discovers a child’s skull hidden in the wall of the home her fiancé inherited from his aunt. Shortly afterwards she is found murdered. Lottie Parker and her team are investigating and find a long history of infidelity, illegitimacy, murder and family secrets.

Another great read from the Lottie Parker series.

Thanks to Netgalley, Bookouture and Patricia Gibney for the ARC of this book in return for an honest review.
