A story that makes a great case for cooperation. :-)

Horsefly and Honeybee each want to nap in a particular flower. So they fight, and each loses a wing. Drat! Neither can fly with only one wing, so they start off walking home, in opposite directions. Soon they find themselves caught by bullfrog. Through cooperation, they're able to escape!

Funny and cute. This would be a good storytime read.

Interesting story about enemies learning to work together. Illustrations have a lot of blank space, I guess that's to show the size of the insects but it also left them wide open

It was a pretty cut and dry book, but with a cute message. Although I turned the last page and said to my sister - and then they realized that they were literally stuck together for the rest of their short insect lives...
