I don't even know how to describe this book, honestly.
It broke my heart and made me cry a few times.

Booktok led me to this one and I'm extremely glad I didn't base my decision to pick it up, on the synopsis alone, as it doesn't seem like my type of book.

I was wary because of the trigger warnings but I am so glad I picked this up.
It's sick, sad, heartbreaking, shocking and it truly made me think.
I felt nauseous thinking of some of the situations depicted but it was a book I'm glad I put my comfort aside to read.

While I left bad for the mom, I slowly disliked her more and more. I felt like the topic of pedophilia was brushed over as if it was equal to any other mental illness and for some reason it just didn’t sit well with me. The mom continued to defend him and act as though he was the victim all along. I would have liked more insight on Noah’s thoughts, basically anything else other than the mom crying over him. Only gave two stars because the ending was different. Otherwise, wouldn’t be something I’d necessarily recommend to anyone.
