Sweet teen love story. Unusual enough to feel refreshing, though key plot points were a bit predictable. It was a fun read!

This is a very quick, well written, cute story of teen romance during Christmas time in New York City. I loved the mix of characters and there were several parts that made me laugh out loud. I highly recommend this book for your Christmas time TBR.

I really expected to like this book as this genre usually suits me very well. However, I found some parts of this book to be a little bit cringy and found Lily slightly annoying. Dash, however, felt like a more fully developed character. The writing style is suited for a YA book and is just not specifically my favorite.

It's cute.
Some phrases are probably inappropriate for today.
I like that it's a Christmas story.

It's ok, but not great. I mean, I liked the Netflix series, so I figured why not? I don't regret reading it but it wasn't a favorite.
