This book is exactly as described in all the best ways! Readers don't have to wait very long to get the inside scoop on the relationship between MCs, and it gets spicy real quick! There is such a lovely tenderness between Emily and her ghost, and I thought the hurdles they face in pursuit finally being able to be together were entertaining.

I read this in one sitting, and it's a quick and easy palette cleanser for avid readers with large TBRs, or mood readers who need a break from longer/more complicated stories.

I can't wait for the next book in this series that will follow a new couple in the same setting.

Usually tropes I do not go for, but Rachel really drew me in that I could not stop reading lol

I do want to say since I was not used to the tropes, it felt off a bit, but I read it and can appreciate it being out there for those who love ghost romances. 🖤

Excited to see what else Rachel has in store ...

"Pleasure. Safety. Trust. Promise. Possession. It means I'll worship you."

These vibes...

Meeting Emily was like greeting an old friend. I breezed (heehee) through this! I was enraptured by this quick and scrumptious read. There are some unexpected twists that were so well executed with Drake's writing they had me flipping the pages with intrigue.

"Nothing this good could be bad." - the only "bad" thing is that we have to wait 'til spring from the next instalment of the Creature Cravings series.

Such a fun story with a new take on spirits and incubi. At first I was a little worried about ghostboy being this adult man, but then it was revealed the characters had been similar ages the entire time.

It was a fast read for me, and I enjoyed the twists and surprises that happened. I appreciated how the characters grew and bonded with some definitely spicy sex scenes.

This book was unique that's for sure. The story was not one I had read any variation of before but some of the twists and plot points just were not my cup of tea.

What a fun, spicy quick read!

I loved the concept of Ghost and the relationship he had with Emily for 22 years. It proves once again that love can conquer all.

I can’t wait to read more of this series.

Thank you to Rachel for the eARC.

"My ghost has always been with me."

GHOST SMUT?! The smut realm keeps getting better and better. This ARC by Rachel H. Drake was captivating, interesting and sexy!

"Nothing this good could be bad."

Emily and William are the only paranormal couple I'd want to read about. I loved the growth, the connection, and the potential of their future! Great read and looking forward to the other books coming out in the Creature Cravings series.

"What a world, what a life, what a love."

Haunt is a hot paranormal romance full of fun world-building and characters. It’s a quick and easy read. I found it to be the perfect TBR palate cleanser from my usual high fantasy. The author includes lots of great smut and this is the first book in a standalone interconnected series. I can’t wait to dive back into this world with book two!

So I’ll just say this to start: this was WEIRD! I mean. Falling in love with a ghost is one thing.. but ghost smut and pregnancy!?! Rachel, what even!? 😅 next I’ll just say… I am HERE. FOR. IT.

The romance was so good. Soft, sweet, passionate, possessive (in a good way), unique. The spice was 🥵 fiesty, fiery, dirty, very NOT vanilla. The storyline was easy to follow and catchy, and unpredictable/unexpected tbh!

**It has a very fast paced storyline and can be read in one sitting, don’t expect a ton of build up. That’s the point of the creature cravings: they’re made for a palette cleanse and to bring you out of a slump!

I have received a free arc in favor of an honest review.

I did enjoy some parts of the book, but I was not fond of the constant introductions to new creatures in the same short novel and kept bouncing from one thing to another.
Like the dad being a vampire? Her being a vampire? Him not being a ghost but a succubi? Then there just magically being a whole community without explanation?

I like a supernatural romance and I like HEA of course, but if you’re like me and don’t like a full story in just 200 pages and SUPER QUICK pacing with lots of smut it (never a bad thing the smut was written okay!) might not be for you!
