Mr. Kristoff sure knows how to spin a tale. You can tell a book is good when leaves you with all sorts of emotions. I only have one question. How could you do that to my favorite character?

Ok, I know many people were disappointed by the second book in the series, but this is the one that really let me down. I was not interested in reassembling the pieces of gods, or whatever the heck was going on. Also, didn't love the people coming back from the dead, thought that was a little weak. Didn't buy Tric's literal undying love either. Just meh. And the ending? And the plot device of the books being in the library? I just was not into it. Felt like a chore to get through, honestly, which was disappointing after having enjoyed the first two so much.

Finally finished thank God! Absolutely hated it. There were exciting parts so I will give it 2 stars but I skimmed heaps. The boring sex scenes between Mia and Ashlinn top of the list. This series was completely destroyed for me by this relationship. I was so happy when Tric returned, but it was a trick. The ending was complete crap. I spent a lot of time eye rolling at the flowery writing. Haven't been so disappointed in a long time.
