"The home was top-notch New Jersey suburban. The living room was Martha Stewart. The basement was Legos--and blood. For sports agent Myron Bolitar, the disappearance of a man he'd once competed against was bringing back memories--of the sport he and Greg Downing had both played and the woman they both loved. Now, among the stars, the wanna-bes, the gamblers and groupies, Myron is unraveling the strange, violent life of a sports hero gone wrong, and coming face-to-face with a past he can't relive, and a present he may not survive." (From Amazon)

I enjoyed this novel of Myron as we get to see the athlete in him and a view into his glory days.

While I really liked this book and the ending. I felt like it dragged a lot and the story was drawn out more than what it should've been

After reading 'Win' I thought I'd try more of myron bolitar and enjoyed a real page turner.
In this 10 yrs after his career ending injury myron is recruited back into a pro team to look at the disappearance of the star player.
Definitely will be reading more of the series

Just cruising through this series. I liked this particular installment quite a bit-- I especially liked getting some of Myron's backstory and the mystery was truly puzzling. I really like how these mysteries often involve seemingly unrelated crimes that tie in together, though sometimes this feels a bit confusing, at least until the ends are all tied together. It was interesting to see Myron come to terms with his past, though that wasn't as strong a point as it could have been (partly because it was part of the mystery and pacing-wise didn't come to a head until the very end of the story). There isn't much to say about these. They are compulsively readable and fun. On to book 4 before the bundle expires...

So far have enjoyed all the books of the Myron Bolitar series. Did not guess who done it early on. Fast read
