This book was a huge disappointment! Everything about it is a disaster: the story, the characters, the plot, the way they talk... No adult should read this book, much less a teenager... it's terrible!
There is not a single character that is likeable - we supposed to like Charlotte, but she is as bad as all of the other girls. The plot makes no sense at all - the author set up some rules only to ignore them later in the book.
This makes me so angry! Just because this is a book for teens doesn't mean it should be poorly written. And then we are surprised when young people hate reading... I have the second book but I'm not even going to give it a chance!

This book reeks of the 2000s but it made me laugh. The main character doesn’t have much personality other than being pathetic, but I thought her narration was funny because of that.
Graphic: Ableism and Death
