It’s the lord of the rings, what more is there to say? Lots of names, places and weird words and it’s perfect.
Wouldn’t listen to the appendix as an audio again, it was very confusing!!
Also I noticed (again) just how awesome and accurate the movies are!

I loved this book don't get me wrong, this story completely amazes me and I obsess over the characters and I truly wish I was a character in it. I fall in love while simultaneously hating characters and when I finished it I felt like 'what now?'.
The only reason I can't give this book five stars is because the way it is written is quite difficult to read and it took a while for me to be able to read it with ease. I think it was a matter of too much description and pointless conversation, it is the first time and hopefully only time that I have said I prefer the film. I actually hate myself a little bit for that but it's true and that's the reason I gave it four stars. If I prefer a film to the book then I just can't give it five stars.
