This was a fun Paris based book with a fantasy twist. Some of the characters were loveable, but some of them were meant to be hated. Ownership of a woman is something I really can not get behind. It enraged me just reading how possessively some of the characters spoke. Our society already has enough men like this in real life that I don't want to read about it.

It will be interesting to see where the rest of the books in the series go.

Lena & Sergio

Rated 1-5 stars w/ 5 being the best

Overall: 4.5 Stars
Performance: 4 Stars
Story: 5 Stars

Another thoroughly enjoy listen! I loved that the action started right away with Lena dealing with her inner beast that definitely wanted out. Of course, our hero, Sergio, is there to lend a hand. I liked their interactions throughout the story as well. As usual, I enjoyed the side characters, especially Ariana and Dante.

Disclosure: I received a free copy of the audiobook. I also purchased the Kindle version.

A Delightful Listen

I am loving this new series by Ms. Lowe. It's fun with lots of humor and suspense. Can't forget to mention it takes place in Paris, beautiful Paris. What more can we want with a sweet romance story.

Ms. Osborne did a lovely job with the narration.

I enjoyed the story. While it mostly follows the pattern of the previous series, there were a couple of twists that surprised and please me. It kept the story fresh and engaging.

Natalie is a sweet yet feisty heroine with a heart for the downtrodden and no room for snobbery. Tristan is practically perfect in every way. He's strong, handsome, fearless, and noble. He's also determined to protect Natalie and make sure she has the final say in her life.

I loved the secondary characters in the guardians group, especially Clara and Hugo. They are so sweet and adorable. I also enjoyed Liam, the lion shifter. In many ways he reminded me of Del from the "Aloha Shifters: Pearls of Desire" series. There is obviously a backstory with him which I can't wait to learn about in the next story.

Fabulous Story! ❤️❤️❤️

Once again, I'm in love with the story created by Ms. Lowe. It has love, danger, dragon shifters, and Scotland. What else is needed? Lachlan and Holly were a lovely match. I enjoyed how they reconnected after being separated for so long. I love how Trevor's last request was integral to their reconnecting, not just in location, but in their hearts. Their love for him and his love for them was beautiful.

Narration was on point as usual.

I absolutely love this new mythology...

This fated mate story on steroids swept me away to Paris and a new “world” that is so intriguing that I felt an immediate emotional connection with these characters. Natalie is just a normal American girl taking charge of her life and fulfilling a dream of living in Paris. Tristan is a war veteran coming back to civilian life as a protector for the mysterious Guardians. When they meet it is destiny and it is magic. But the overarching plot of the Fire Maidens also draws you in and it is hopeful even if they have to fight to protect humanity. Loved this action packed, suspenseful romance.

A fun heartfelt paranormal romance...

These characters are so well written I feel like I know them. Lena is a champion for the downtrodden and Sergio is a survivor, they both have strong convictions they are willing to fight for. Even though there are big baddies and a good bit of action and intrigue, the heart of the story is Lena and Sergio’s coming of age or into their true selves. And we get to go along on the thrill ride that is their journey to destiny and the joy of a true mate.

Fire Maidens Rule...

I love that these stories are always different, following the same path but from totally different directions. Grace is a contradiction a music nerd who plays a harp and has a business degree, yet is strong enough to teach adults financial basics when she was a child. Finn has had wanderlust his whole life can anything make him want to plant roots especially in his tiny home town? This angsty shifter tale has all the feels and just enough action. Fire Maidens don’t have to be bad@ss to be leaders and protectors, or to give us a fun heartfelt read.
