Akhmed is in a tizzy. He cannot believe that the rest of the world (even the Koreans! And the Pakistanis!) have nukes, but not Iran. What is wrong with his scientists?

And that’s not the only thing Akhmed’s worried about – his collaborators in the grand scheme to deliver a blow to the USA are loonier than they are dumb. How is he ever going to achieve his goals with all these yahoos? Where did all the good people go?

Akhmed and the Atomic Matzo Balls is irreverent and completely over the top. Gary Buslik’s characters are absurd caricatures of a stereotypical villain, then taken 100% over the top. The dialog is ridiculously entertaining, except for the English professor whose communication style was way too dense and florid for my comprehension. The plot, preposterous. Some chapters were laugh-out-loud hilarious, and others were slower than molasses.

Somehow though, it seems to work, and caught more chuckles than groans. Give it a whirl if irreverent humor is your thing…
