This is not a re-read, i've decided that i will read the rest of this series, but only Lucy's and TJ's books, bc i feel most realted to them. I'm like a combination of both of them.

So the synopsis confused me a bit bc it was unexpected. In one sentece, the premise is: Luke, Nesta's boyfriend, liked TJ and he acted on it. Just from that sentence it's clear how it's gonna go, who's in the wrong, etc, but the first time I read the synopsis it wasn't, bc it was as if Luke just adored TJ. But thankfully it's less complicated than that. It was clear as day for me that this guy was trouble.

I like this series because it is tryin to teach teenage girls about friendships and relationships without patronizing them, and while still remember how being a teenager feels like. This book takes it to another level by showing that people make mistakes and it's what you do about it that makes you who you are. But it also means some parts of this book are frustrating, seeing the characters making bad decisions, but it was very human bcause they're manipulated and gaslighted, and also, a lot of humans are not good communicators, and they're often scared, and especially characters in this book are only around 15. So.

Not my favorite but it's objectively a good teen reads.

I can't deal with the drama in this book! And still this is one of my favourites.
I just want to shout that stop, no, why. But as I know what will happen later on The series, well let's say I love to read this and see the character development in certain people later on. :D

I love the mates, dates series and I love the way the books are laid out so you get to now every character individually this time hearing tj's story was really good but I didn't like the fact that tj cheats on Steve and lies to nesta makes me like this book a little less but still fantastic when I read these books I feel like I'm one of the gang LOVE THESE BOOKS!!
