Read it in Dutch.
Was erg moeilijk om in te komen. Vanaf een bepaald punt werd het wel erg interessant.
Dat het een cirkel van boeken is, is een leuk detail. Door het einde van dit boek wil ik wel echt het volgende boek lezen

Not comparable to the other books in the Circle series. This messed the whole series up.

Blech. Not worth it. I read the original series about ten years ago and loved it. Reread them again this year and I am a different person than I was 10 years ago but they are still good books. But that being said. I hated this book. This book made references to other books in a spinoff series that I didn't know I should read before reading this one. If those books were important to the story they should have included them in the collection I was reading. It really felt like he was changing things already established in the other books and just trying to make everything fit in a perfect series. I just really did not like this book. Just stop reading after White. It gives the series a better ending.

I thought the complete series was very well done but overwhelmingly sad. I realize it needs to be able to go in a circle but from a broader perspective that means Thomas forewent this adaptation of Heaven on this possibility to save his son over and over and will never be able to. Instead of a blessing I could see how a reader could view this as a curse though Thomas who lives in the moment and stuck in time, would not know his future thus perpetually make the same choices and have the same sad result.

Also I was disappointed I didn't have the opportunity to see Bill in the real world try to take up his post as the anti-Christ.

Still, despite these two things I thought the series was brilliant.
