NGL This book was pure smut, no storyline and it had no path. I got this off tiktok shop in a date with a book bundle.

Sweet as its titular pastry, enjoyed this story of a dominant/sadistic linguistics professor and submissive/masochistic lawyer (with really bad taste in men) coming together after admiring from afar for some time.

The name says it all

I love watching someone who thinks they are broken find someone who loves them exactly the way they are! This book delivers that while also serving a heaping helping of kinky steam. It's quite an achievement to blend the cosy soft romantic feelings with an MC with a passion for pain. Perfect for anyone that loves an HEA with a chunck of spice.

I enjoyed this low conflict bdsm mm romance between two kinky adults who’ve known each other from a distance for years and who unexpectedly get involved. I thought the set up required some suspension of disbelief and I’d have liked a little more character development, especially for Max, the almost too perfect to be true dom. But I loved the chemistry between the characters.
