Isabelle, aka Izzy aka Sugar, has a one-night stand with Zach, figuring he's "safe." He's not a hockey player. As the coach's daughter, she's sworn off hockey players. But as fate would have it, Zach is the newest player on her father's team. And he's not letting her go, no matter how many other (failed) dates she goes on.

SJ Tilly must be a pantser, because the climax seemed kind of tacked on late in the game. Still, I enjoyed the story. I really liked Zach.

Ok hear me out if I read this book a second time I would probably be bored but I just finished a 500 page fantasy book and I needed a small break so this was just perfect timing

I hate the nickname Sugar tho it’s sound so corny
