A really beautiful take on grief, moving on, and loving one another.

Taylor Jenkins Reid has become one of my all-time favourite authors and I am working my way through all of her published works.

Forever, Interrupted was an incredibly emotional read. We follow multiple characters through their grief and it is heartbreaking at times and inspiring and insightful at others. Like Taylor's other books, we have dual timelines written here and it adds another layer and dimension to the story. This book is a very slow burn and our main character can be annoying at times but it did not away any of my enjoyment.

You can tell this was Taylor's first book but that is not necessarily a bad thing. It shows how much progress has been made with the writing in each book, despite it being clever, multi-dimensional and insightful to begin with. Taylor Jenkins Reid has such an incredible talent for writing and I cannot wait to experience more of it.

I knew this would be sad.

But I wasn’t prepared for how relentlessly depressing it was.

I mean that in the best way possible.

Such a wonderful story about mourning and grief. It touches on some clichés, without getting too cliché. And without pushing the idea that "time heals all wounds" - because that just isnt true.

I love how TJR is just such a mastermind when it comes to writing about people, interactions and feelings. I enjoyed reading this book a lot.

This book is soooo emotional. I read some of it while in public and I had to physically put the book down and look aways so I wouldn't cry. By the end I couldn't hold my tears in. TJR writes beautiful, meaningful stories and this one truly broke my heart multiple time while  reading. Recommend to anyone looking for a good cry.

Triggering lol, in hindsight I shouldn’t have read this book but I also thought it was a different book and I don’t read blurbs so who’s fault is it really
