I enjoyed this book, but I don’t know if it lived up to the hype I had heard from others.

I liked how the book was about a quirky woman, Eleanor, and those around her, but there was also a mystery involved.

A view into what feels like a real person's very real life.

what a beautiful slow-build read! i was rooting for Eleanor from start to finish. it's always heartwarming and gut-wrenching to watch someone learn that they are deserving of love and that they don't have to go it alone. it's something i need to remind myself of from time to time.

i like that you only get to see the big picture of her trauma right at the end. i like how it's written in a way that you can understand how she's thinking. i guess i can relate with her in some way like, how antisocial she is and her attempts at fitting in. as a young adult learning to be an adult, i loved her as a character. i sought more books like that.

i have seriously started to wonder if the relationships i have with people around me are actually real now that her story has settled in T T

A bit predictible but I kept coming back to it and I'm glad I stuck with it. The audible version read by Cathleen McCarron was done really, really well.
