May 14 - May 14 2023: Honestly? Tragic.
I loved it. I love tragic. I love gore. I love this. Give me more despair and suffering.

******SPOILERS AHEAD******

What just happened here?!?

Here I was, enjoying how intense this volume was from the beginning and one by one, every Investigator starts losing a limb!

Then the much anticipated One Eyed Owl appeared to cause more chaos but the end of that fight was decided anyway. Like someone mentioned, Arima is basically Levi of AoT, invincible! The person revealed to be the Owl though, was on my list of inconsequential characters, so it really took me by surprise!

What stressed me out was watching Kaneki go insane. Just in this volume, he went berserk twice. I was happy that he met Hide, who even accepted his state and form. But that fight with Arima, him thinking that's he's acted just like his mother all along, and the Let us Rest dialogue, it all just broke me.. I don't know if he's dead and turned into a Quinque or is truly alive, but please, please let him be alive..

So many have died (or believed to be), so many were injured but here we have clowns mocking the ones that died and the sick Aogiri continuing with their experimentation. This was a cliff hanger ending, it raised more questions than it answered and now I need to read the sequel immediately..
