A triumphant continuation of Asimov's Foundation series. After the defeat of the First Foundation at the hands of the Mule, the story shifts to the other side of Harry Seldon's great plan, the secretive and powerful Second Foundation. The story is one full of intrigue and has twists at every step of the way, making it more like a spy thriller than the previous books. Overall it is a thoroughly enjoyable continuation of the series, and leaves the reader anticipating the next chapter (literally) in the history of the Foundation.
