First time reading anything of the Iron King and whilebi liked the story, I didn't like the art. I felt like the art didn't fit the story. That was my main issue with it otherwise the story was Interesting

So I went into this graphic novel super excited because I love the novels and couldn't wait to read it in this different form. All I have to say is that this is a huge disappointment.... the illustrations don't do the story or the characters justice. In fact, many times the illustrations make the characters act way different from how I have imagined them in the story. Also, so much of the story feels cuts out in order to make it work in this new format and the cuts cause the story to be rushed from lack of detail. over all my opinion skip the graphic novel and just stick to the main books.
