I actually loved this one more than the first! It has a good mix of total porn and plot. And honestly, it really works. I don't know HOW Katee Robert did it, but so much happens in 150 pages but it doesn't feel rushed at all.

I actually really love Mina and Malachi, she's grown on me and I just can't help but love a broody man. Each character is great and I'm fascinated by this world the author created.

• was this better than sacrifice or do I just have a thing for silent damaged muscle men in reverse harems (lookin at u rylan)
• this had more by way of plot but also got very repetitive with the whole sex then almost get caught then run to a new safe house formula
• still more smut than plot which is fine
• these books could just be one standalone book realistically

Other than how spicy this book is, I say the plot is interesting, but it pretty much only exists as means for the spice to exist, but I’m definitely not complaining!

I know its a romance/"smutty" book but I could've done with a bit more plot.

Other than the meeting with the demon, the book was just the characters having sex in different locations (which was great and all) but I feel like they could've gone more into Mina's seraphim heritage or even her training her new powers.

Also the conversations between characters didn't seem that meaningful to me.

The vampires have sex with Mina throughout the book in an attempt to get her pregnant. She finds out she is pregnant by the end of the book (also vomits-how she realizes she's pregnant). Main group is ambushed at the end so there's violence.
