One of my favourite books of all time. Amazing coming of age. The prose is weird and unique. It’s often gross but real life is too.

This book is more about generational legacy, trauma and healing. Cultural pride. Coming of age. Queerness etc than it is about the rabid grasshoppers

If you like weird, subversive but hilarious books this is for you.

A+ concept—super original take on the apocalypse. a lot of really funny moments. so much second hand embarrassment.

realistic queer characters that question their sexuality a normal amount for teenagers but it’s not overdramatized.

This book was a trip. I really like reading weird books, so this was pretty enjoyable. I also am a bit of a fan of the humor in this book but I know that it really isn't for everyone. The book was also somewhat repetitive but it was like the gimmick being used, so it worked for the most part.
