An exciting new Flavia mystery, this time entirely within the confines of good 'ole Buckshaw! We continue to learn more about the Feely and Daffy, as well as Haviland and the late Harriet. Tensions run high as Flavia has to solve a murder whilst all possible suspects remain snowed into her own home. Spectacular as always

Minor: Body shaming, Cursing, Drug use, Domestic abuse, Medical content, Ableism, Alcohol, Classism, Death of parent, Misogyny, and Sexism

I liked it, it was a nice cozy mystery. I gave it a lower rating because it really felt like a “special episode” for a holiday, which it was. In this book it’s easier to realize that Dafi and Ofelia actually really care about their younger sister. It was cute and fun :)
Moderate: Death
