I just couldn't connect with the characters and I wasn't into the writing style.

a charming novella! i loved colin and ada's dynamic so much, i'm a sucker for fake/pretend relationships and theirs was just delightful

I guess this is fine. I don't think we really saw Colin and Ada actually fall in love, but the ending, of untangling themselves from barriers to being together forever, was passably cute. I think Theresa Romain is a very good writer though, and once this year ends and I can start a new reading challenge, I'm definitely going to explore more of her books.

A sweet novella. Very little conflict, but a nice, relaxing read.
