I think this is a significant improvement from Breach of Peace. Daniel really expanded the world, and I'm very interested in where he goes with it. He gave me some nuggets, and I want more! I still didn't get fully pulled into the world, and I think the writing can improve. I liked the characters as well. They had good backstories. I just didn't get sucked into them. But this is only Daniel's second book and already an improvement from the first, so I'm excited to see where he goes. Also, two of the characters are bi which is awesome. So, to support a growing new author, I suggest reading this if you have already read Breach of Peace!
