September 2017 - Ben chose this one himself (I think for the dinosaur on the cover) and although he's well past potty training, he still enjoyed it. Plus, he basically read it to himself through the pictures before I read it to him.

How could you resist this monumental theme, combining two major preschoolers' obsessions?? Dinosaur triumphs over everything s/he does, while resisting an ever-increasing need for the potty. Will Dinosaur get to the potty in time?

The illustrations are simple with implications of hugeness that make Dinosaur pop off the page.

Highly recommended for two-year-olds through four-year-olds whether engaged in potty battles or not.

A loved this book and memorized a few pages of it. Hasn't seemed to make the connection between the dinosaur's potty and her own though

Edited: now that we have officially started potty training, I think this is the wrong book for Amarachi. A dinosaur that refuses to go to the potty until he is bursting??? Seems like A took a lesson, and now only pees twice a day and has not pooped for 3 days and counting.

This bright book speaks to anyone who tries to squeeze in more fun right up until the last possible second. Kids who have just been through some of these early battles will laugh at the fun things dinosaur does.

Very cute. Dinosaur reminds me of my nephew who will also wait until the very last minute to use the potty!

Dinosaur does not have to go to the bathroom. She can take down three juice boxes, lemonade, running through the sprinkler and puddle jumping, and still not have to go to the bathroom. This book captures that denial we all feel when we are having just too much fun to stop what we are doing and take care of business. Fantastic illustrations and text lead to a nail-biting finish...will dinosaur make it?

Get ready for a whole lot of roaring! Berry enjoyed this one, though Mama started skipping some of the roars to save her breath.

Dinosaur likes to challenge different things and this time he is going up against the potty. Who will win? Dinosaur or the Potty?
