This book was a very well articulated analysis of how the media and in particular photojournalism convey the suffering of other people, especially during wars. The insight provided were useful, however I must admit that I was expecting a more convincing or at least powerful conclusion. It certainly does make the reader think, it questions our parameters of judgments but it fails a bit in stating a real conclusion or strong point of view. It’s worth reading though.
